A NEW ERA

When I opened the iRepair franchise in Rhodes in June 2016, we were still in the midst of a financial crisis due to debt and memoranda. The people of Rhodes, however, supported us from the first moment and trusted us for their devices, but also for the purchases of technological products.

In less than 4 years, we are already facing a new huge crisis. The virus COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, or coronavirus came as an invisible threat and forced us to stay home to stay safe. He reminded us that we should wash our hands properly, that germs lurk everywhere and forced us to social distance. Due to this invisible threat, reaching March 25th and on the occasion of the holiday due to our national holiday, I decided to temporarily close the shop. Two reasons prompted me to this. First, I had to protect the health of my team and our own people. Nikos, Lefteris, Andy and Sevi agreed that if we protect ourselves now, we will be ready to serve the island and our customers without problems later. The second reason was your own safety. You, who had to stay inside, who were not allowed to enter the store for a simple purchase and had to protect yourself and your people.

Of course, through the communication we had during this time, we found a way to repair the devices of our customers who were in immediate need. And the Mobile Unit made sure that the repaired devices reached their hands.

The concept of the Mobile Unit became a reality in the spring of 2018, with the characteristic van making its first routes. People from all over the island, as well as visitors, have been delighted that we can pick up and deliver devices to or from repair, knowing they don't have to be moved into the city centre. I had decided from the beginning that this would be done for free to reward all of you, our old and new customers. Because you are our support.

Taking advantage of this period of quarantine, I decided to offer in my own way, something new. Something that will strengthen our relationship. This site is the result of that thought. The Mobile Unit site is the continuation of iRepair Rhodes and is exclusive for the island. From here, we will have even more direct communication, you will be able to make a reservation for us to come and collect devices from your place, but also do online shopping at any time of the day, wherever you are, without having to come to the store every time. The van that started touring the island two years ago now has its own website to go with it.

Every crisis is also an opportunity to get closer. This is what we will try to do and we hope that you will support us in this effort. Thank you for the trust and love you have shown us since day one and I hope the result will satisfy you. I look forward to your suggestions and comments!
